With a passion to pursue winemaking in his adopted country, Spaniard Anthony Vidal purchased a Hawkes Bay racing stable in 1905, converted it into a wine cellar, planted vines and established himself as one of New Zealand’s early wine innovators. From these pioneering beginnings, we have gone on to create highly acclaimed wines from one century to the next. Today we produce classical wine styles, inspired by the spirit of our founder and the spectacular land on which our vines flourish
